• As the president of the ICT & Tourism cluster, Jaume Monserrat, will participate in the panel of experts on “The use of data in the destination strategy”.

The International Cluster of Information and Communication Technologies applied to Tourism will take part in the XX International Congress of Tourism University and Enterprise, organized by the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón and the Universitat Jaume I – Empresa Foundation.

Dingus CEO, Jaume Monserrat, will be part of the panel of experts as president of the technological and tourism cluster that on May 11 will address “The use of data in the strategy of destination”. The roundtable will be moderated by the dean of the Faculty of Juridical and Economic Sciences of the UJI (Universitat Jaume I) Rafael Lapiedra, and will also have the presence of José Antonio Belmonte (director of the Office of Tourism Innovation-ITREM), Santiago Camps (Mabrian Technologies SL CEO) and Elisa Martín, Director of Technology and Innovation IBM.

On May 10 and 11, the UJI will offer a complete program focused on aspects such as public-private management models, the mentioned use of the data in tourist destinations and the strategies to be followed, or the contributions in tourist innovation of the centers research.

In total, there will be four panels of experts and four sessions with different presentations, as well as specialized exhibitions with success stories, initiatives and projects (national and international). The members of the Scientific Committee of the congress, which is sponsored by the Diputación Provincial and the Valencian Tourism Agency, have approved the 37 papers to be presented at this twentieth edition of the event.
