• Introducing the PCI DSS project in which Dingus is working on a pilot phase for the next certification in the standard

As if meeting with our customers in the Canary Islands was not always a pleasure, in recent days we have had the opportunity to do so with a dozen of them together with the bookin.com connectivity team of Spain and the e-commerce travel company, in the Canary archipelago itself.

We would like to point out that this is the first time that Booking.com and Dingus have come together to carry out such an action with hoteliers, and the first time also that the online agency does with a Channel Manager.

The meeting in Gran Canaria was attended by our clients from Lopesan; Grupo Satocan; Be Cordial; Dunas, H10; Gloria Palace; Atlantis Hotels & Resorts; Total Hotel Experience and Sea Side. To all of them we thank you for the success of a call that we hope to repeat in other destinations where they rely on our technological solutions for the tourist distribution.

In the session we had the opportunity to present the PCI DSS Project (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) in which we are working. This security standard developed by the main credit and debit card companies is considered as a compulsory manual for companies that process, store or transmit data of the same.

For the certification of Dingus in PCI DSS by the authorized auditors QSAs(Qualified Secutity Assessor), as confirmed by our CEO, Jaume Monserrat, “we are currently developing a pilot phase with a hotel from our client portfolio, a collection agency and two of the world’s leading OTAs. Once the project has been validated with as many channels as possible, our company’s intention (beyond complying with the most demanding information security regulations) is to offer this service and others of added value to those who trust us to  business, and the protection of their customers’ information. “
