• The 37th edition of the Madrid International Tourism Fair has been our best campaign in recent years, with 35% more meetings not previously scheduled.

The increase in the number of people in our Fitur team this year, the increase in prior appointments and, above all, those requested on the spot have confirmed that Dingus’ growth forecast of 30% in 2017 is adequate.

Although this projection has been made according to objective economic criteria, the fact is that the subjective perception tuned extraordinarily with the predicted percentage: 30% is comparable to the increase in interest in working with the company and the volume of business that would have resulted from the Madrid International Tourism Fair, if that had been the main purpose. But the truth is that beyond the clear commercial embassy, the company wanted to take advantage of this edition to thank customers and partners more than ever for their trust and loyalty.

That is why our main activity at the fair was the informal meeting held on the afternoon of January 18, and which allowed us to greet and exchange impressions with the crowd of people who approached the Dingus cocktail. It was also a meeting point to explain the improvements in our technological solutions (Bookincenter, Bookinweb and Roomonline) how they have evolved and developed to meet market demand and to reinforce the reasons that allow us to be a strategic technological partner, cost effective and scalable: reliable.

The operational balance of Dingus’ presence at the Madrid International Tourism Fair translates into more than a hundred previously scheduled meetings and an additional 35% requested in the course of Fitur itself. For our company it was very satisfactory to verify the interest with which we were sought in the stand that we shared as Gold coexpositors of the International Cluster of Information and Communication Technologies applied to Tourism, Turistec. From these unscheduled meetings we draw the conclusion that in this edition of the fair we have been, more than ever, a provider of cutting-edge technology for reference tourist distribution.
