The candidacy of the majorcan businessman and CEO of Dingus has been endorsed in recent elections held by Turistec, backed by all the votes cast. In this way, Jaume Monserrat assumes a new mandate of two years at the forefront of the international Cluster of information and communication technologies applied to tourism (Parc Bit- Balearic Islands).

During the previous mandate, Turistec board initiated a process of privatization that Monserrat considered finished successfully, making it possible to now keep public-private partnerships with the institutions who are interested “in terms of total economic independence and equality, working and collaborating in projects where our partners and collaborators may bring added value”

This cluster, which counts among its partners with Dingus and Etooltech – Hitt Group- is “an established trade mark that allows export huge knowledge concentrated in important critical mass in a clear and orderly way”. “The ability to share and extend this knowledge is the first intrinsic value of turistec, a hardly replicable differential value at the level of the Tic / tourism in the world”.

The private entity which Jaume Monserrat will preside over holds the Bronze Label of the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI) and currently exercises the Presidency and the Secretariat of EUREKATOURISM+, the European umbrella for the generation and financing of innovative and sustainable tourist plans.

The CEO of Dingus believes that professionalization, quality, commitment, and knowledge transfer are some principles that work the Hitt Group brands, perfectly extrapolated to the technological cluster and its collaborative strategy.
